The Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis at Aalto University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. This is a unique opportunity for talented individuals with a doctorate in operations research or a closely related field to contribute to our leading role in systems and operations research in Finland. The Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis is an international highly regarded academic community of more than 100 employees, with around 20 professors, 10 lecturers, 20 postdocs, and 60 doctoral students. We seek applicants whose research and teaching profiles complement the department and strengthen the research area in systems and operations research by combining theoretical and methodological contributions with applied research.
